Visions of Paradise

At the same time Mick Jagger and I wrote DISEASE, we also wrote this song for his solo album with Matt Clifford. It's called VISIONS OF PARADISE. You can hear my background vocals in there, too. Check it out HERE.

Am I allowed to say in response to someone's comment that Mick Jagger doesn't copy ANYONE......No Reason too. Doesn't take my love for Rob as an Artist away. But, puuleeaase.....................Miick is like 67 yrs. old and just glows when he moves................

Beautiful Song. I actually have it around here. Mick is my Baby on that one though! Looks like he was right because Disease has always been one of my fav Rob T's songs! Mick looks stunning and sounds stunning there. Rob we will just have to wait for you to sing it to see who would be better. It's not a contest though.... Geeez.....

First, Rob Thomas is all that sure for our generation, but I think he himself would, I am guessing based on his persona, be way too humble to agree with anyone above that he would sing it better than Mick Jagger...I mean come on people, it's Mick frickin' Jagger.

Second, I think it is purely brilliant that Jagger is mimicking Rob's dance moves from the "Lonely No More," video from the song that went number one in 15 countries. That speaks highly of their respect for each other as artists because Jagger is who he is and yet, he also respects the sheer genius talent of a much younger singer/songwriter.

Third, I absolutely love the entire video...the creativity, the illusions, and the, to put it simply, artistic qualities that highlight not only the singer/songwriters, but highlight the visual quality a great video should have as well.

I could probably go on, but um, enough said?

I also believe Rob would have sung it better, but it was nice to see Mick and Rob working together. Rob's talent will also live on.

great song, honestly think Rob would have sung it better, sounds more like something he would sing, not Mick. But still good job.

Grass roofs on sky scrapers and heavenly backing vocals, what more could we want! If this song had been played to me and I was asked who had co written I would have known it was Bobbie Tom the maestro himself xxxxx So happy to see the site back on it's feet xxxx. Jane
